Symptoms:
User attempting to audit user events, but does not see dmctl commands getting logged.
After enabling auditing of user events per 195215 I don't see any dmctl command being logged.

Resolution
Smarts is working as designed.
dmctl events are not part of user auditing and will not be logged to the domain log file.
