When does the event "MultiActiveEndpointsDetected" get triggered in Smarts IP?
Smarts generates the event "MultiActiveEndpointsDetected" if the following conditions are met-
-When an HSRP group is created that has a different HSRPEndpoint, there will be a state for each endpoint. At any given time, there can be only one Active endpoint within the group.
-If there are more than one endpoint in a group with ActiveEndpoint state, then Smarts triggers the above mentioned event.
-In this case, the state of both the HSRP Endpoints would show as "ACTIVE_HSRP".
-This alarm is basically designed to detect a miss configuration at the HSRP group. Usually the configuration should be ACTIVE_HSRP & STANDBY_HSRP, if otherwise, the stated alarm will be automatically generated.
