Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
After performing an upgrade dynamic modeling did not apply. Recompiling, restarting and rediscovering do not cause it to work.
The dynamic model classes were being loaded but none of the dynamic model classes were being created.

Environment
VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS
Cause
In this instance adapter-settings.asl which takes care of creating the dynamic model classes was not loaded as it was renamed with the _old extension.
Resolution
1. Renamed adapter-settings.asl.old to adapter-settings.asl
2. Recompile
3. Rediscover
After completing the above steps the issue was resolved.
