Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Currently users are prevented from forcing audit logs to automatically roll once they reach a specific file size.

Currently released versions of Smarts do not allow the SM_LOG_ROLL_SIZE variables to automatically roll audit log files at a specific file size as it does with domain logs.

Cause

The SM_LOG_ROLL_SIZE variable in the runcmd_env.sh was intended to control the log sizes of all types of audit logs. It does not currently affect the size limits on audit logs.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in Smarts 9.3.

Additionally, a fix for this issue was provided in Patch 8 for Smarts 9.2.2 (9.2.2.8).
