A: Direct and indirect relationships are populated by these two oids>
Smarts can use either of these two OIDS to build an OSPF relationship.
1. This OSPF establishes a Direct relation with the physically neighbor.
table
1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10 in MIB.
2. This OSPF establishes a virtual relation with a distant device. which populates virtual neighbor table in the mib
1.3.6.1.2.1.14.11NOTE:
OSPF will establish 2 kinds of neighbors.
1. A Direct relationship with the physically neighbor. which populates the neighbor
table
1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10 in MIB.
2. A Virtual relationship with a distant device. which populates virtual neighbor table in the MIB
1.3.6.1.2.1.14.11Here either one MIB table is enough to create respective OSPF relation in SMARTS.
B: Groupings of interfaces.
Either one of the below groups is enough to create a relationship in Smarts.
- OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.7.1.1 is OSPF if table and OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10 is OSPF neighbor table, these two are associated as group. (if one exists other also exists.)
- OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.9.1.1 is OSPF Virtual interface table and OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.11 is OSPF virtual neighbor table, these two are associated as group. (if one exists other also exists.)
If any of the above mentioned OIDS provide data, SMARTS will build OSPF relationships. .
