Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to downgrade currently installed Smarts version after successful upgrade?

Environment

Smarts - 10.1.x

Resolution

It is not possible to downgrade Smarts version to previous/lower version after successful Smarts upgrade.

For instance: After upgrading to Smarts 10.1.12, it is not possible to downgrade to any lower versions i.e 10.1.9/10.1.7 or so on.

 

However, if any patch is applied on GA version then patch can be uninstalled.

For instance: If Patch 3 is applied on Smarts 10.1.7 then it can be reverted to Smarts 10.1.7.
