Question from a customer
Is it true that if a "managed" interface is put into a polling group which has disable Fault Analysis enabled, then this is the equivalent of unmanaging an interface?

Resolution
Managing and Unmanaging an interface is done at the post processing level. By default all interfaces are managed and ports will be managed only if it has a connectedVia relationship.
That said, after the post processing, a reconfigure script is executed that will create instrumentations for only the MANAGED entities.
Now, if the managed state is considered as a matching criteria in the P&T group and those interfaces are grouped and the setting "Disable fault analysis" is applied, this will eventually remove the instrumentation class but not alter the managed state of the interface.
