Can VMWare Smart Assurance IP discover and monitor teamed NICs on Host devices?

VMWare Smart Assurance IP only discovers the virtual NIC team on a Host and not the underlying physical NICs

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

VMWare Smart Assurance IP Management Suite supports discovery and instrumentation of teamed NICs on Host devices. However, this functionality is only available if HP/Compaq, Intel or Broadcom NICs are used and the necessary vendor MIBs are present on the host.
