v2t Migration failing with the ERROR: "Migration with multi-VC environment is not supported"

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The migration failed in the early stage with the error message: "Migration with multi-VC environment is not supported"
• Only one vCenter was selected to perform the migration.
• No multi vCenter is configured.
• From the /var/log/syslog of the NSX Manager:

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.5.x

Cause

Cross vCenter is not supported when doing migration.

Resolution

This is expected behavior, only standalone NSX-v manager migration is supported.

Workaround:
