VLCR UI may show status for protection group as cannot be determined

Issue/Introduction

• You may experience a breif intervention in the VLCR environment.
• All replications may slow to an almost complete stop and new ones will start queuing up
• Several alarms of "Protected group '…' status transitioned from GOOD to CRITICAL: The status for protection group '…' cannot be determined. Check again in a few minutes.
• After the above errors, a alert of "VMware Live Cyber Recovery alert: Description: Recovery SDDC 'VMware_AWS' status transitioned from CRITICAL to GOOD."

Cause

This can be caused by VLCR service upgrades that were done  and in the process the SCFS and Orchestrator components have to be redeployed (with data/replication retained). 

Resolution

These errors are cosmetic/can be safely ignored as long as no other issues are being seen in VLCR. For more information about the upgrade process refer Upgrade Process document. 

Once the upgrade is complete you can verify the latest version/upgrades in the VLCR UI by going to the Settings tab and then click on the About VMware Live Cyber Recovery.
