Issue/Introduction

Symptom:

When the NetMaster region is started, the following message is seen in the NetMaster JESMSGLG:

KO2Z999E OMPE V530 Service error SSM=OMPESSI /OMPESSI ABEND= S0C4 RSN=00000010 

A S0C4 abend occurs in Omegamon XE for DB2 and a dump is taken at NetMaster's request:

Environment: 

NetMaster Network Management for TCPIP r12.1

Omegamon XE for DB2 V5.3.0

 

Cause:

 

PTF UI30684 (IBM APAR PI43822) has been applied to Omegamon XE for DB2 and is in error (PE status).

 

Resolution:

Corrective fix UI32244 (IBM APAR  PI49684) should be applied to Omegamon XE for DB2.
