ERROR [  c.v.v.c.f.p.a.impl.ConfigureNfsDatastoreAction]   Execute ConfigureNfsDatastoreAction failed during creation of datastore nfs-datastore  with the exception of {}
com.vmware.vim.binding.vim.fault.AlreadyExists: The specified key, name, or identifier '/vmfs/volumes/c299ac45-0bc1248d' already exists

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.8.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

Workaround:
  1. Log in the specific ESXi host the task failed on.
  2. Select Storage in the left pane, then click the Datastores tab.
  3. Right-click the datastore to unmount and select Unmount.
  4. Return to SDDC Manager, locate the Create VI Workload Domain or Add Cluster Task and click Retry.
The task will restart on the last ESXi host to fail, continue the above steps for any further affected ESXi hosts.
