Issue/Introduction

This article features the fixes included in the VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) October 2022 Update.

 

Resolution

The VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) (formerly known as vRealize Operations Cloud) October 2022 Update addresses the following issues:

• The help button during "VMC on Dell EMC" account creation now navigates to the Configuring a VMware Cloud on Dell EMC Instance in VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) page.
• [CloudProxy] cprc-cli command run fails with message about missing "analyze" module.
• [App-Monitoring] Telegraf agents upgrade fails for Windows OSes after upgrading VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) instance from Q1FY23 to the latest released Q2FY23.
• Delay in View updating after POST Rest API Call to add custom property.
• Daily Price Estimate for VMware based Cloud fails with error Unable to Calculate Price "Error converting planning response from byte array."
• After upgrade, activated management pack lose some of dashboards for CSP users.
• SDDCs, which are configured under VMC account, got duplicated after VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) upgrade.
• Option in view/reports to show non-existing objects only.
• Cost on Resource Pools can be enabled as a feature (disabled by default).
• [REST API] Recreate data publisher REST APIs in the internal APIs and fix old sre data publisher extensions.
• Aggregator Adapter Failed to retrieve remote object kinds after upgrading from 8.6.4 to 8.10.0.
• VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) UI will enter Blinking state after about 1 hour. The UI becomes unusable. The only option is to close the browser tab and re-login.
• Internal Server Error - Unable to disable Near-Real-Time monitoring on vCenter adapter instance.
• For VMC on AWS datacenters containing witness host, the costing in VMware Aria Operations (SaaS) is not working as expected.
• UI crash while editing a View widget.
