What is the Smarts Network Configuration Manager (DDT) Device Driver Tool or formally called the QADD tool?
The goal of this tool is for customers to be able to create a
temporary device driver for a unsupported devices to have the ability discover and complete basic pull or push configurations. Please keep in mind that is a temporary driver and not all functionality in NCM may work on the unsupported device.
**Please Note: This is considered custom driver work so there is no Dell EMC Technical Support assistance.**
The DDT tool is a UI-based tool available in Smarts Network Configuration Manager, its designed to help users walk through the process of creating a simple driver.
To access and use the tool, do the following:
- Navigate a web browser to the following URL:
http://<NCM--Server-IP>/ddt
- At the login prompt, enter smc-user or sysadmin and the corresponding password to access the DDT tool.
- Once logged in, follow the prompts to create the driver. There is a help option at the bottom of the screen to guide you through the process if necessary.
