Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
This issue is related Cisco IOS Routers and Switches. This issue exists because both use the same IOS and it is very difficult to differentiate between Routers and Switches and as a result NCM misclassifies some switches as routers.
NCM was using ipForwarding as criteria to differentitate the two classes

Cause
Both Routers and Switches use IOS
Resolution
If you face this issue please install the latest DSR as this issue has been fixed
DSR Version 21.0 Hotfix 3 released April 8th 2016 contains the fix and it applies to all supported versions of NCM
