What does "Created By EXTERNAL:snmp" mean in the Smarts Network Configuration Manager (Smarts NCM) configuration change display?
The external SNMP notfication indicates that a pull of the device configuration was done because of the receipt of an SNMP trap, most likely a config change trap. There is a "comments" area in the DCS which may contain information from the trap about the user or method that was used to make the change.
