Smarts NCM: Canopy Cambium PMP450 device pull fails when more than one device is selected

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:


Canopy Cambium PMP450 device pull running config is successful if pull is attempted on one or two devices at a time, but fails if pull config is attempted on more devices. Running config is failing to pull with below error in the GUI:

Pulling configuration file 'running' for IDX xxx with mechanism SNMP/TFTP and SNMPV3
File uploaded to tftp server using SNMP/TFTP
Empty config file running
Pull of running failed
Unable to pull config file: running

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Cause

It is observed that all individual pull jobs from canopy driver are trying to create configuration file with same name.

Example from commmgr.log:

Dec 07 05:11:00 1098864384/pull(21828026)#4: Touching file: /tftpboot/config.json
Dec 07 05:47:20 -2120317184/pull(21829332)#4: Touching file: /tftpboot/config.json

Resolution

This issue is fixed in DSR 23 HF3 and above. Refer the attached DSR 23 HF3 release notes, page.7 for details of the issue and fix.
