Certificate warning displayed when starting Smarts NCM client
 

When lauching NCM for the first time with Internet Explorer the following message is shown :

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. Continue to this website (not recommended)"

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Cause

When using the default self-signed certificate we have to accept this certificate for first time, after that these Warning messages will not be displayed.

Resolution

When using the default self-signed certificate we have to accept this certificate for first time, after that these Warning messages will not be displayed.
 

You can use a third party CA certified certificate like VeriSign to suppress this message completely
