Smarts NCM: Cant reliably pull (50% success rate) a configuration on a Ruggedcom Switch using TFTP or Telnet

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




This worked with no issues with NCM 4.11, but after upgrading to NCM 9.4 the ability to Pull a configurations using TFTP or Telnet on a Ruggedcom Switches fails. 

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Cause

TFTP pull is failing much before the TFTP pull command is issued. The session is getting timed out, since we are not matching the prompt state "5005" as we do in 4.1.1. We are just waiting for prompt state 1001 and 1002 in 9.1 environment. In 4.1.1 we are matching with prompt state 5005 and thereby TFTP pull is successful.

Resolution

This will be resolved in a future Device Service Release.
