Smarts NCM: Changes made on ALU CSRs are not setting up syslog pull jobs by NCM

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




When a config change is made on Cisco routers, a job gets scheduled immediately and runs after 20 mins. With ALU we don t see any job getting scheduled.

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Cause

AlcatelSR devices hadn't been qualified for syslog events

Resolution

This is a known issue and a patch has been created to resolve the bug as of October 2015.

Please download and install DSR 20 Patch 4.
