Issue/Introduction

Customers might experience the following error after successfully logging into the Device Driver Tool and clicking "To proceed, click here to continue": 

"HTTP Status 500 - java.lang.StingIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 5" 




Environment

NCM 10.x

Resolution

To resolve the issue please do the following:

  • Log into CLI of the Application Server as Root. 
  • Set the variable by running the following command:
               source /etc/voyence.conf
  • Navigate to the following directory:
               $VOYENCE_HOME/custompackage/ddtDrivers/beans
  • Remove the _.qadd file by running the following command:
             rm -f _.qadd
  • Now try and access the Device Driver Tool.
