Clarification about output length with saved commands in NCM

Issue/Introduction

This article explains that if NCM is able to generate/display full output of any command when run with saved command.

Environment

All Supported NCM releases

Resolution

NCM is capable of generating full outputs when run with saved commands, however this depends on the device vendor.
For Cisco devices, the command 'term length 0' has to be added to every saved command of the device to get the full output.

Example:
When we log in to Cisco device from a terminal and run 'show interface' command, we need to press enter key to see more output.
Same command when we run using saved command in NCM for Cisco device, it displays the full output.
