Migrating to a new server and need to migrate the license file also

I want to move my NCM installation from one machine to another - do I need to get a new license?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Resolution

The Smarts NCM license can be moved from one server to another.

You still need a valid license for each Smarts NCM instance but if you need to move the Smarts NCM software to a new server you can copy across the existing license
