How much RAM is required for Network Configuration Manager 9.4x to run?
  • Combination server 16 GB minimum
  • Application Server (small) 16 GB 
  • Application Server (large) 32 GB 
  • Database Server (small) 8 GB
  • Database Server (large) 16 GB
  • Device Server 8 GB
  • Report Advisor Server 16 GB. 

     
  • Small Application Server is defined only running the Application Server with a separate Database Server and Report Advisor Server with two or less attached Device Servers. 
  • Large Application Server is defined as in having additional modules installed on one host or more that two Device Servers attached.. Examples (Application + Database Server on one host); (Application + Database + Report Advisor on one host); (Application + Report Advisor on one host).
  • Small Database Server is defined as less than 50 gig in total DB size. 
  • Large Database Server is defined as more that 50 gig in total DB size.    
    • To check the DB size please do the following. 
      • Log into the where the DB is located at Application Server or Database Server. 
        • source /etc/voyence.conf
        • su - pgdba
        • psql voyencedb voyence
      • It will ask you for the database password (The one you created on installation) please enter it. 
      • You should now be at the prompt screen, run the following command: 
        • select * from cm_total_db_size;
