Smarts NCM: JMX Console: jmx-user password does not work following migration

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:


If user has set jmx-user password to anything other than sysadmin, the jmx-user password does not migrate to the new version NCM 9.2.2.a, and will not work

The jmx-user password gets reset to sysadmin during the migration.

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Cause

Password is being reset to sysadmin during migration

Resolution

Run password-change.pl to reset password back to the one it was set to prior to migration. 

Additional Information

The issue is a bug and is being addressed in a future release
