How does NCM discover stacked switches? Can one single IP  be able to discover multiple stack information which are configured with different hostnames ?

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Resolution

Yes one single IP will be able to discover multiple stack information which are configured with different hostnames. In this scenario, stacked switches will be discovered as single device in NCM if we provide the IP address. Physical hardware will show the details of stacked switches.
