This article explains how to create report in Smarts NCM Report Advisor with all interface details, including duplex and speed combination.




You can generate the interface detail report in the Smarts NCM Report Advisor by creating a new ad-hoc report and adding the columns you wish to see in the report. The Smarts NCM Report Advisor Ad Hoc reporting feature allows you to create and customize reports using a wide variety of information found within Network Configuration Manager metadata.

To create a report using the Ad Hoc reporting feature, do the following:

1. Select the Run Ad Hoc Report icon from the Report Advisor navigation tree in Reports to open the New Ad Hoc Report work page.
2. Update the Title and Description columns.
3. In the Column Selection section, click the drop-down arrow and select an initial category for your Ad Hoc Report, and click Next.
4. Select the information you require and click Next.

• If you select Network as the initial category in the Column Selection section, additional selections are accessible and selectable. These will include the device interface and IOS information information you require.

5. Set column sorting (if required) and click Next.
6. Set all columns as visible and click next.
7. Select grouping and click Finish, and the report will run.
8. Edit the report settings to add/remove columns.
9. Save the report to have it available for future use.
