Smarts NCM: Does NCM use command "more system:running-config" to pull configs from Cisco Firewall devices

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:


Alternate way to extract the config data for these Firewall devices (Cisco ASA and PIX)

Query is whether we can use the command:

more system:running-config

instead of the default : show running-config 

to pull the device data 

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Resolution

Smarts NCM does not use this command to pull configs:

more system:running config

Because it allow keys to be displayed in clear text
