Changes to VMware vSAN Enterprise Plus packaging and entitlement

Issue/Introduction

Effective November 4th, 2021, VMware is changing the packaging and entitlement for this offering for new and/or existing customers who are active on SnS as of November 4th, 2021 and will be fulfilled with new license keys for:

• VMware vSAN Enterprise
• VMware vRealize Operations Advanced

Resolution

These new license keys enable you to have more upgrade path flexibility from vRealize Operations Advanced to:

• vRealize Operations Enterprise
• vRealize Cloud Universal
• vRealize Suite

There’s no change to the support entitlement for the individual products above and customers can continue to renew support when the current contract ends at each offering’s standard SnS pricing.
