In order to access Edges deployed in cloud platforms, we need the PEM or private key to authenticate the SSH session. Customer would have downloaded this file at the time of the creation of the Edge instance.
In a Windows machine we can use the private key file in Putty. We also need to allow our public IP in the firewall tab of the edge the same way that is done for any other edge
Once we have the private key file in our local machine we can access putty and select the file. Expand SSH, click on Auth, select browse and choose the .ppk file.
Once you selected the file click on Session and enter the public IP of the edge and click on Open, like any other SSH session:
The user is root and the session will authenticate with the .ppk file that you selected previously.
