Recommended Action:
Compare the number of IPs of the DHCP pool to the number of the active VMs. Consider reducing the lease time on the DHCP server configuration if the number of VMs are less than the number of active leases. Also, consider expanding the pool range for the DHCP server by using the below procedure:
From your browser, log in with admin privileges to an NSX Manager at https://nsx-manager-ip-address.

- Select Networking > Segments.
- Find the segment where you want to configure the DHCP service. Next to the segment name, click …,
- Then click Edit.
- Click EDIT DHCP Config to modify the following parameters as required.
- Enlarge the DHCP range.
- Add a new DHCP range.
- Modify the Lease Time (seconds) to a lower value.
- Note: the default lease is one day or 86400 seconds.
- Click Apply.
