Issue/Introduction

Title: Alarm for detection of MTU configuration mismatch between NDVS Uplink and TOR
Event ID:topologydiscovery.tn_mtu_mismatch_with_tor

Alarm Description:

• Purpose: To detect and provide a warning when there is an MTU configuration mismatch between NDVS uplink and TOR. 
• Impact: There will be issues raised for Transport Node traffic going across TOR via uplink when there is an MTU configuration mismatch.

Steps to Resolve

For 4.2.0 and higher

Recommended Actions:

• ​​​​​​Manually verify the NDVS MTU configuration and the TOR MTU configuration. 
• Maintain a uniform value for both the MTUs configured.

Maintenance window required for remediation?

Yes, approx 1 hour window. Traffic is impacted during this window.
