Azure Windows: Unable to RDP to Windows VM with accelerated networking enabled with NSX Agent installed

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When NSX agent is installed on windows VM's, RDP to the VM fails.
Removing the agent enables RDP again

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

This is because accelerated networking is enabled on Azure. There are known issues with Windows VMs with NSX on instances where accelerated networking is enabled.

Resolution

NSX Agent is not yet supported for compute instances with the following interfaces: Azure's Accelerated Networking or AWS's Enhanced Networking. The new release may provide RDP capability with accelerated networking enabled but this is still work in progress.

Workaround:
Disable accelerated networking for windows VM in Azure. RDP to windows VM should work after this.
