Issue/Introduction

Title: Alarm for /nonconfig partition disk usage high and very high
Event ID: manager_health.operations_db_disk_usage_high, manager_health.operations_db_disk_usage_very_high

Alarm Description

  • Purpose: /nonconfig partition disk usage reaches limits
  • Impact: This might be due to temporary heavy workload in NSX manager, especially IDPS, and the alarm will be cleared automatically after a few hours. If the high disk usage persists for a few days, IDPS might experience clustering instability and performance degradation. If the disk usage keeps growing, the nonconfig Corfu database will turn to read-only mode and IDPS will become unavailable.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX
