Issue/Introduction

Title: Alarm for Edge Node Maximum IPV6 route limit exceeded
Event ID: routing.maximum_ipv6_route_limit_exceeded

Alarm Description

  • Purpose: Purpose of the alarm is to inform the user that IPV6 routes has exceeded the maximum limit on Tier0 Gateway and all Tier0 VRFs on edge node. The limit also includes inter-SR routes.
  • Impact: This is a warning-only alarm to alert the customer that IPV6 route count on the edge node has exceeded the maximum limit and might lead to undesired behavior on the node.

Steps to Resolve

For release 4.0.0 and higher

Resolution:

This alarm is automatically resolved once the IPV6 routes are reduced to within the limits on Tier0 Gateway and all Tier0 VRFs on edge node. The limit also includes inter-SR routes.
