Issue/Introduction

Title: Alarm for Connectivity loss between IDPS Reporting Service and NSX+
Event ID: distributed_ids_ips.site_connection_loss
Added in release: 4.1.2/ M24
Alarm Description

• Purpose: GRPC Connection between IDPS Reporting Service and NSX+ is lost
• Impact: In this case, IDPS events from the LM will not be synced to NSX+

Resolution:
Restart the IDPS Reporting service on each of the Manager nodes.

  No

• To restart IDPS Reporting Service on the Manager:
  SSH into the manager appliance and issue the following command via NSX CLI
  start service idps-reporting
