Issue/Introduction

Title: Alarm for manager_health.gateway_not_reachable

Alarm Description:

  • Purpose: Raise alarm when NSX Manager could not able to ping default gateway. This is checked for both IPv4 and IPv6 network if configured. This alarm would not be reported if any of the IPs is configured using DHCP.
  • Impact: NSX Manager will not be able to communicate to gateway. This may raise a few more alarms like "Missing DNS Entry For Manager FQDN" alarm if NSX Manager node not able to communicate to its server.

Steps to resolve
For 4.1.2 and higher

Recommended action:

Check if network is properly configured, network latency is not high and NSX Manager is able to ping the gateway.
