SNMP polling on the NSX Manager and Edge will return some (not all) of the standard system level MIBs

Issue/Introduction

• When polling the NSX Manager via SNMP, some queries fail with an error similar to:

Environment

VMware NSX 4.x
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x

Cause

NSX UI has configuration available for SNMP polling, However, not all the MIBs are supported. Hence it is expected for SNMP polling not to be working on all the MIBs.

Resolution

This is a condition that may occur in a VMware NSX environment.
