Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• When attempting to delete a VDI Workload domain in VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3, the subtask WaitForDesktopPoolDeletionTask fails.
• The Horizon Desktop Pool related to the Workload Domain being deleted will remain in a Deleting status in the Horizon Administrator UI.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Foundation 2.3.

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, follow the instructions provided in the Knowledge Base article Provisioning or recomposing a linked clone desktop pool fails (2015112).
