DVS LACP is not initializing if Cisco's "no lacp graceful-convergence" is used in Port-Channel configuration

Issue/Introduction

This behavior is expected if you are choosing to set manual the advance option "no lacp graceful-convergence" on the lacp port channel on the cisco switch if Cisco's "lacp system priority" is lower then 65535.


Symptoms:
DVS LACP Portchannel are not able to sync with Cisco Switch and initialize LACP

Cause

DVS LACP system priority is hard coded to 65535 and to make sure to init as last piece of any lacp channel which can cause an issue.

Resolution

To resolve this issue perform below steps on Cisco Switch.

 

1. Check lacp setup using below command.
   show lacp system-priority
    
2. Change lacp system-priority to 65535 using below command.
   "lacp system-priority 65535"
