[VMC on AWS] Email from AWS Warning of Upcoming Deprecation of Node.js

Issue/Introduction

To provide information regarding Node.js within VMC on AWS and its impact.

Symptoms:
Customer receives an email from AWS stating that Node.js version X is being deprecated and will no longer be supported by the AWS team.

Cause

This occurs when customers provision SSDCs within VMC on AWS and execute the Cloud Formation Template (CFT) required for Account Linking. Node.js is used as part of the lambda functions executed during the CFT.

Resolution

This warning email can be safely ignored. The VMC platform regularly updates the CFT to using the newest version of Node.js, ensuring there is no impact going forward.

Impact/Risks:
There is no impact to running SDDCs.
There is no impact to provisioning SDDCs.
