[VMC on AWS] Unable to see "VMware EVC" option in certain VMs

Issue/Introduction

Detail why the Per-VM EVC option may be unavailable for specific VMs.

Symptoms:
To configure per-VM EVC, post selecting a VM from the inventory, users navigate to Configure > VMware EVC. For some VMs, the VMware EVC option will not be visible.

Cause

Virtual machine hardware version (VM Version) of version 13 or below will not have access to the per-VM EVC feature.

Resolution

Upgrade VM hardware version to 14 or above as that is the requirement for enabling per-VM EVC (KB: Upgrading a virtual machine to the latest hardware version (multiple versions) (1010675) (vmware.com)).
