[VMC on AWS] Error seen: Host cannot communicate with one or more other nodes in the vSAN enabled cluster

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Error or similar message is seen in the vCenter client: Host cannot communicate with one or more other nodes in the vSAN enabled cluster

Cause

This is caused by recent host remediation tasks in the VMC SDDC. After being reconnected, this message may not be acknowledged and reset automatically.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, the VMC on AWS team may need to restart the VPXA service on the hosts. Please reach out to the VMC on AWS team to have this completed: Get Support
