[VMC on AWS ]How to request a limit increase for logical segments advertised over Direct Connect private VIF

Issue/Introduction

This article explains how to request a limit increase for logical segments advertised over Direct Connect Private VIF. 
By default, maximum number of logical segments advertised over Direct Connect Private VIF is set to 16. This is a soft limit which can be raised upon customer request.

Resolution

・Contact VMware Support to request a limit increase, with the following information.
　- Org ID 
　- SDDC ID 
　- AWS Shadow Account ID 
　- New Limit Value 
　- Business Justification (Required for an increase of 40 or more segments)

・You can find Org and SDDC ID as below.
　- VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC > Support > Support Information

・You can find Shadow Account as below.
　- VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC > Networking & Security > System > Direct Connect > AWS Account ID
