Issue/Introduction

This article provides information on how to resolve issues if the installation task is being stuck at 68%.

Symptoms:
vCenter Cloud Gateway Appliance installation task gets stuck at 68% under the following conditions.

• You mounted VMware-VCGW-all-6.8.1-12157571.iso and launched GUI installer.
• You selected a language other than English.
• You configured a static ip address for vCenter Cloud Gateway Appliance.

Cause

There is a problem vCenter Cloud Gateway Appliance is going to be deployed with DHCP setting even though you configure a static ip address in the GUI installation process if you choose a language other than English.

Resolution

Please be careful not to change a language setting from English in GUI installer if you would like to configure a static ip address for vCenter Cloud Gateway Appliance.
