Issue/Introduction

This article explains the VM Storage Policy for applying SLA in Stretch cluster environment.
Also, We recommend that you confirm the latest "Service Level Agreement for VMware Cloud on AWS document (following, SLA Docs)" first. Because the SLA Docs contents may have changed.

snipped from SLA Docs:
For a stretched cluster across more than one availability zone, in addition to the above
condition, you must have a minimum configuration for all VM storage policy Site Disaster
Tolerance = Dual Site Mirroring.
But, vCenter has different VM storage policy as below.
Site Disaster Tolerane = None - standard cluster with nested fault domains

Resolution

・For Workload VMs (e.g: Customer created Virtual Machines)
 As documented, you must have a minimum configuration for all VM storage policy Site Disaster Tolerance = Dual Site Mirroring.

・For Management VMs (e.g: vCenter, NSX Manager, HCX Manager)
 The Management VMs and the policies are managed by VMware and maintaining it's SLA is VMware's   responsibility.
 You don't need to take any action. Also, If you try to change the VM storage policy for Management VMs you will get  the following messages.
