Issue/Introduction

Introduction

To prevent the exploitation of ongoing vulnerabilities that occur with TLS and SSL this article recommends maintenance in the form of PTFs to disable TLS (Transport Layer Security) and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) support within CA OPS/MVS WebCenter.

Instructions

  • If you are using CA OPS/MVS version 12.1 in conjunction with WebCenter version 7.6 consider installing PTF RO79254
  • If you are using CA OPS/MVS version 12.2 or 12.3 in conjunction with WebCenter version 8.0 consider installing PTF RO86062

Additional Information

Supported releases of the CA OPS/MVS WebCenter feature support IBM AT-TLS and this is the recommended method for those that require secure sockets.
