LACP or uplink port state not showing correctly in vCenter Server

Issue/Introduction

• LACP or normal uplink port, the dvs port linkup/linkdown state won't be reflected/updated on DVS or the ports tab on vCEnter Server
• The status of LACP or normal uplink is shown correctly in the physical adapters list on vCenter Server

Environment

VMware vCenter Server

Cause

This is a known issue, hostd and vmkernel currently does not support updating linkup/linkdown states of LACP or uplink ports of VDS.

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution.

Workaround:
The status of LACP or normal uplink can be viewed in the physical adapters list on vCenter Server.
