Access vRealize Operations Cloud Service from Skyline Advisor

Issue/Introduction

If you have subscribed to both vRealize Operations Cloud, and Skyline Advisor, the ability exists to contextually open vRealize Operations Cloud dashboards, and the troubleshooting workbench, from within Skyline Advisor. However, in some instances, the contextual launch of vRealize Operations Cloud may not work as expected. In those instances, you are redirected to the Cloud Services Console.

This article provides steps for how to access vRealize Operations Cloud if you are not automatically redirected as-part of the contextual launch from Skyline Advisor.

Resolution

After subscribing to vRealize Operations Cloud, you'll be able to open dashboards, and the troubleshooting workbench, from within Skyline Advisor. However, in some instances, you may be redirected to the Cloud Services Console.

If this happens to you, follow these steps to access vRealize Operations Cloud.
 

1. Click Launch to open vRealize Operations Cloud from Skyline Advisor.

2. Check to make sure your currently selected Organization is the same for which Skyline Advisor is available.

If your Organization has changed, follow these steps to choose your Organization.

1. In the top right-hand corner of the Cloud Services Console, click on your Account Name, and Organization, to open the Selection menu.

2. Click Change Organization.

3. Select the Organization where you've also subscribed to Skyline Advisor.

4. Click on the vRealize Operations Cloud service.

After completing these steps, vRealize Operations Cloud will open.
