Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• In the Windows Event Application logs, you see this error:
  
  [warning] [vmusr:vmusr] SimpleSock: Socket # closed by peer
  
  
• This error is reported multiple times, in quick succession

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Tools version 10.0.5. For more information, see the VMware Tools 10.0.5 Release Notes.
